HR Manager (German & English Speaking) (m/w/d)

We’re working with a fast-growing, high-energy business based in Munich that’s looking to hire a hands-on HR Manager to join their people function. This is a fully onsite role within a dynamic, startup-style environment where things move quickly and impact is visible. The role requires fluency in both German and English and suits someone who enjoys building structure while still operating close to the business and its leadership team.
What you’ll do:
* Own the full employee lifecycle - from hiring through to development and retention
* Be the go-to person for managers on everything people-related (performance, ER, team structure)
* Build and scale HR processes that actually work in a fast-moving environment
* Drive culture, engagement, and retention initiatives as we grow
* Keep us compliant with German labour law without slowing things down
* Partner closely with founders/leadership on hiring plans and org design
What you bring:
* Solid HR generalist experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment
* Strong working knowledge of German labour law
* Confident, direct communicator - able to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
* Fluent German and English (both essential)
* Hands-on mindset - you get stuck in and figure things out
* Experience using Personio (preferred)
