With headquarters in Tel-Aviv and Los-Angeles, we recently opened our European site in Berlin, Germany. Our office operates with the energy and mindset of a startup, driving creativity and growth in the heart of Europe.
The Role:
As our Operations Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the European Hub supply chain;
overseeing third-party manufacturing, building and managing local inventory, and ensuring seamless procurement and delivery of our products across the continent. You’ll work closely with our sub-contractors and logistics partners in Europe, while collaborating with teams in Israel and the U.S. to coordinate terpene product imports. In parallel, you’ll support our European sales team with agile supply operations, all while driving continuous improvement, sourcing new suppliers, and strengthening communication across the entire value chain .
This role reports to the VP of Operations (based in Israel) and the Head of the German entity. The role requires close collaboration with global stakeholders across multiple time zones.
This role offers the opportunity to travel abroad occasionally to strengthen relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and key partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Expertise in sourcing high-quality raw materials, packaging, and manufacturing equipment at competitive prices.
* Identify and onboard new suppliers to enhance the supply chain.
* Manage supplier relationships, contract negotiation, and purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
* Coordinate international and domestic shipments.
* Handle customs and regulatory compliance for smooth import/export operations.
* Stay up to date with regulations for our products within Europe.
* Liaise with our sub-contractor in Europe to manage production schedules and quality control.
* Facilitate full communication between manufacturers and distributors to ensure smooth operations.
* Ensure effective order fulfillment and resolve bottlenecks in production timelines.
* Oversee inventory of Raw Materials and Finished Goods to support production needs.
* Oversee raw materials and inventory to ensure production continuity.
* Identify and address inefficiencies in the supply chain while implementing improvements.
* Manage the entire order lifecycle, ensuring quality standards and timely delivery.
* Partner with product development, sales, and marketing teams to align operations with company goals.
* Provide operational insights and updates to senior management.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience in operations, supply chain management, or logistics (preferably in Food, Alcohol, Tobacco, or Cannabis manufacturing).
* Strong expertise in procurement, supplier sourcing, order fulfillment, and contract negotiation.
* Familiarity with international shipping, customs processes, and regulatory compliance.
* Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills to manage relationships across teams and cultures.
* Experience in ERP systems and project management tools.
* Willing to travel abroad frequently.
* Experience working with excised goods (e.G., tobacco, alcohol, or other regulated consumer products) and bonded warehouses, including familiarity with EU compliance, customs documentation, and controlled storage and distribution procedures - preferred.
* Fluency in English and German. Additional languages are an advantage (Hebrew preferred).
