In our Engineering Competence Center in Dresden, our team of experts research, develop and innovative new products based on exact customer needs. They are supported by a strong Business Support Function. Currently, we are looking for a period of 1 year support in our Finance Department as Deputy Finance Manager (m/w/d).
This person should support the Finance Manager for Accounting, Tax, Controlling, and Administration JE Germany and Pendix Group. Support decision-making and controlling for JE Germany and Pendix Group; forecasting, budgeting, and being responsible for fixed asset management
1. General Ledger Accounting, fincial statements monthly, bi-annual HK FRS, yearly local GAAP (HGB), periodically reporting
2. Support budget preparation, forecastwith cost and headcount as well as Variance Analysis of actuals figures and budget figures
3. Support preparation of tax calculation, tax returns in collaboration with tax consultant, counter part of tax auditers
4. Project controlling,controlling of RnD project costs
5. Assistance for capital expenditures requests (CAR)
6. Identify improvement areas and savings potential
7. Support Finance of E-Bike unit Pendix located in Zwickau and carry out profitabilty analyses(20% travel between Dresden and Zwickau required)
8. Controlling of assets (inventory and fixed assets), supervising of fixed assets count and inventory count
9. Other ad hoc tasks, reports, projects
Educational background & hard skills:
10. University degree in Finance related studies or similar subject
11. At least 3 to 5 yrs experience, preferable international and technical business background
12. Experience in above mentioned areas of responsibility
13. Knowledge of relevant ERP systems (especially MOVEX is advantage and Oracle)
14. Fluent in English (written and spoken); German basic communication
