Job Description
The Head of Sales drives commercial performance, stabilises event operations, and builds a strong pipeline of qualified leads across all Scorpios locations. This role blends strategic sales & events leadership with hands‑on event execution, ensuring every guest experience aligns with the brand’s culture, values, and aesthetic standards. Acting as a cross‑functional leader, the Head of Sales & Events designs concepts, manages teams, and supports multiple verticals—including F&B, wellness, and hospitality. This role requires a creative, non‑traditional mindset to identify and expand commercial opportunities beyond conventional event spaces, transforming them into meaningful expressions of the Scorpios world. The Head of Sales & Events establishes internal processes, trains and mentors local teams, serves as the central communication link between departments, and carries full revenue accountability—owning seasonal sales targets, driving performance, and leading lead generation, nurturing, and conversion efforts across all properties.

Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Generation
* Develop and implement multi‑location sales strategies to attract events, brand collaborations, wellness activations, retreats, partnerships, and F&B experiences etc.
* Build and maintain a strong lead pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and strategic relationship management, including trade shows and industry events.
* Manage client relationships from first contact through event execution, ensuring alignment with Scorpios’ brand values.
* Guide teams to deliver personalized service while implementing effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.
* Develop targeted outreach for key markets (EU, US, Middle East etc) and build relationships with agencies, planners, DMCs, and HNW networks.
* Implement upsell and cross‑sell initiatives across F&B, hotel stays, wellness, and cultural programming.
* Develop location‑specific strategies aligned with market trends, ensuring local teams can execute effectively.
Event Planning & Execution
* Develop innovative concepts to drive sales activations and enhance engagement.
* Oversee the full lifecycle of events, including planning, contracting, budgeting, logistics, and post‑event evaluation.
* Coordinate with all scorpios departments: F&B, Operations, Music, PR/Marketing, and Guest Experience teams for seamless execution of the strategic sales and event plans.
* Maintain consistency in event quality and brand presentation across all locations and scorpios properties.
* Collaborate with third‑party vendors to create a Scorpios vendor blueprint while ensuring operational alignment; in a global and local level.
* Identify upsell opportunities during planning and execution to maximize revenue, for all scorpios locations.
* Lead post‑event commercial follow‑up to secure repeat business and partnerships.
Stabilisation & Process Building
* Create templates, workflows, and communication flows to streamline processes.
* Implement a CRM‑driven strategy to track leads, client communication, follow‑ups, and conversion metrics.
Team and Training Development
* Train local teams on sales protocols, event standards, client communication, and brand ethos.
* Mentor teams to ensure professionalism, storytelling, and service excellence.
* Support onboarding on new members.
Communication & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
* Serve as the communication bridge between departments involved in event creation and delivery.
* Provide clear reporting on sales status, leads, contracts, and event outcomes.
360° Lifestyle Brand Experience
* Create seamless multi‑concept guest experiences across F&B, Wellness and Hospitality.
* Design bundled experience offerings to drive incremental revenue and increase average event value.
Revenue & Performance Management
* Own full event P&L and ensure profitable execution.
* Analyse sales performance and implement corrective strategies.
* Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to adjust positioning and packages.
* Collaborate with Finance on revenue forecasting and tracking.
Rooms Commercial Strategy & Performance
* Develop and execute room sales strategies for Scorpios hotel component.
* Collaborate with Head of Hotels and Revenue teams on pricing, segmentation, and distribution channels.
* Drive improvements in ADR, RevPAR, and occupancy across all openings and existing properties.
* Identify commercial opportunities for peak periods, long stays, prepayment packages, and buyouts.
Pre‑Opening Sales
* Lead creation of sales materials (fact sheets, floor plans, rate cards, villa specifications, visual assets) in collaboration with Marketing team.
Distribution & Agency Management
* Ensure Scorpios is accurately represented across GDS, the website, OTA‑light channels, and agency platforms.
* Manage relationships with luxury networks, DMCs, UHNW agencies, and travel advisors.
Requirements

* Strong negotiation skills, including pricing, contracting, and yield optimization
* Strategic approach to sales planning, forecasting, and identifying new revenue streams.
* Technical proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Revinate, HubSpot) and workflow tools (Asana)
* Strong ability and self‑motivation to overcome problems at work in a resourceful, efficient, and effective way, working independently or as part of a team
