Your Tasks
* Lead the design of the Avionics architecture of the satellite
* Define and develop the Avionics Architecture of the satellite, covering initial sizing, trade offs, Interface Budgets and HW performances
* Manage the avionics subsystems (data handling, telemetry and telecommands, payload data downlink, laser communications terminal, crypto) during detailed design and testing phases as design authority
* Interface management and control on physical level and across the protocol stack
* Development risk management and mitigation
* Test planning and supervision
* Non-conformance closure
Your Qualifications
* A degree in engineering with a major in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or compatible qualification
* Professional experience in space- or aircraft avionics domain
* Professional experience leading technical teams of at least 2 domains
* Experience with hardware projects in phase B/C/D in the field of avionics systems
* Proven capability to deliver project results in time and budget
* Excellent communication skills, flexibility and ability to work independently
* Fluency in spoken and written English
* Fluency in German is desired (Language skills can be improved through company-facilitated trainings)
