Head of Consulting – Digital Platform for Operational Excellence (all genders)
We are looking for a Head of Consulting – Digital Platform for Operational Excellence (all genders) to drive the implementation of our AI-enabled Intelligent Operations Platform (IOP) as part of global Operational Excellence and Digital programs at our Pharma and Chemical Manufacturing customers.
In this role, you ensure value-creating PoCs, stable deployments, strong user adoption, steady customer growth, and high renewal rates.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
* Build and develop consulting and implementation capabilities to successfully embed IOP into corporate Operational Excellence and Digital programs
* Lead organizational development and change to maximize customer impact
* Establish clear and practical ways of working for strong collaboration and execution
* Drive predictable ARR growth, professional services revenue, and capacity utilization through commercial discipline
Solution & Project Delivery
* Deeply understand customer operational processes and translate them into scalable IOP solutions
* Integrate IOP into customer IT landscapes (MES, ERP, LIMS, data platforms, AI agents, collaboration tools)
* Lead strategic PoCs, pilots, and global rollouts from scoping to measurable success
* Design scalable rollout models (global templates, governance, rollout waves)
* Define and track project success criteria and KPIs
* Take hands‑on responsibility for strategic customer projects
Grow Our Customers
* Expand corporate PoCs and pilots into multi‑site and global programs
* Lead strategic customer growth initiatives together with Sales
* Support key accounts with solution strategies, proposals, and hands‑on pre‑sales activities
* Enable self‑driving growth and user adoption in collaboration with Academy and Community teams
Secure a Stable Customer Base
* Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders in Operations, OE, and Digital / IT
* Drive user adoption at scale through methodology, tools, and execution
* Ensure high renewal rates by consistently delivering customer value and addressing risks early
Tech & DevOps
* Bring innovations to early customers, harden them in real‑world use, and scale successful solutions
* Ensure strong collaboration between Consulting, DevOps, and Software Development
* Drive technically excellent implementations and zero‑incident operations
* Lead continuous improvement, root cause analyses (RCAs), and CAPAs across implementations
Your Profile
* 7+ years of experience in Pharma Operational Excellence or Pharma Manufacturing Digitalization
* Proven experience leading software PoCs or pilots in corporate programs
* Strong leadership experience in building and transforming teams
* Commercial mindset and confidence working closely with Sales
* Willingness to travel
* Excellent communication skills in English and German
