Overview
Finance Director role at Dellner Wind Solutions. Dellner Wind is headquartered in Germany with operations in multiple countries and is expanding rapidly in the wind energy sector (onshore and offshore). The Finance Director leads the Business Unit and our global finance team, reporting to the Dellner Group CFO (HQ, Sweden) and the Managing Director for Dellner Wind.

Responsibilities
* Taking overall responsibility for the commercial areas Finance, Accounting & Controlling and acting as a strategic partner on the leadership team to ensure they are meeting performance expectations
* Developing and implementing a future-oriented financial strategy for the BU Wind to ensure sustainable growth
* Digitalization and optimization of financial and business processes
* Preparing and monitoring budgets, forecasts and financial reports to enable well-founded decisions
* Ensuring the preparation of annual financial statements according to the respective legal requirements and coordinating cooperation with tax consultants, auditors and banks
* Support and evaluation of company acquisitions (M&A) and responsibility for post-merger integrations
* Sparring partner of the management for strategic decisions and entrepreneurial development
* Participation in international expansion
Requirements
* A degree in business administration, economics or a comparable qualification, ideally with a focus on finance/controlling
* Several years of experience in a senior commercial role with a proven track record of success and in supporting and managing a growing company
* In-depth knowledge of finance and accounting, controlling and corporate management
* Experience in the optimization and digitalization of commercial processes
* Entrepreneurial thinking, team spirit, analytical acuity and a pragmatic hands-on mentality
* Strong communication and negotiation skills in English (at least C1 level); additional languages are an advantage
* Distinctive leadership style and strong intercultural skills
* International experience and ideally M&A know-how
* Willingness for occasional business trips and presence at the head office
* You have an academic degree in economics or equivalent and communicate fluently in English
