The position is based in Karlsruhe with a duration of initially 2 years starting from 01 June 2025. Salary per TV-L (100%). Tools Modeling Development: Contribute to the development and the optimization of innovative modeling tools for the hydrogen and derivatives business and systems value chain REN – hydrogen coupling expertise: Contribute to the expertise and the orientations of R&D activities related to a reliable coupling between a low carbon electricity source and an electrolytic hydrogen infrastructure R&D activities Management: Lead and manage a portfolio of R&D activities and related interfaces with a EDF Business client and further strategic partners Project Development: Lead and manage project proposals for industrial stakeholders and public funded calls, driving innovation and collaboration. Knowledge Sharing: Present your findings and activities through internal reporting, communications, impactful publications and conference contributions. Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Energy & Engineering. Experience with hydrogen systems, and/or electricity sources network interface. Skills in programming and coding. Strong data analysis skills. Experience in R&D project management. Fluent in English, in German and/or French will be an asset. Innovative Projects: Engage in impactful research.
