Job Description Become part of our team by supporting research engineers and scientists in the planning and execution of laser beam welding tests for electric mobility. During your internship you will independently plan and carry out tests for laser beam welding of conductor materials. You will design and construct test equipment. Furthermore, you will use different process diagnostics to observe the welding process. Last but not least, you will evaluate and document the tests using metallographic preparation and analyze the data from the process diagnostics. Qualifications Education: studies in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or comparable Experience and Knowledge: of laser material processing; familiarity with Python is a plus Personality and Working Practice: you are a curious, flexible and detail-oriented individual who works independently and with determination Enthusiasm: a passion for experimental work Languages: very good in German or English Additional Information Start: according to prior agreement Duration: 6 months (confirmation of mandatory internship required) Requirement for this internship is the enrollment at university.
