Responsibilities:
Supervise and witness the offloading, handling, and installation of BESS equipment.
Work closely with the Customer’s BoP Contractor to ensure equipment is installed in line with our recommendations and Installation Manuals.
Plan, monitor, and control site activities to align with overall project schedules and milestones.
Coordinate resources (labour, equipment, and materials) to ensure efficient project execution.
Support project managers in preparing progress reports, forecasts, and site-related documentation.
Monitor quality and implementation of all Quality Assurance documentation.
Track and manage site-level risks, issues, and changes, escalating where necessary.
Ensure all site activities comply with Health, Environment & Safety (HES) standards, regulations, and company policies and also in line with Principal Contractors.
Provide guidance to contractors and site staff on HES practices, ensuring adherence to risk assessments and method statements.
Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits, documenting findings and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Support incident investigations and contribute to continuous improvement of site safety practices.
Ensure proper implementation of the company’s training and competency requirements for site staff.
Qualification and expertise:
Recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
Relevant electrical installation certifications per competency requirements.
Formal HES/EHS certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, SMSTS, or equivalent).
Strong working knowledge of health, environmental, and safety regulations in CDM/site environments.
Proven experience managing electrical installation projects — preferably in renewable energy or BESS sectors.
Strong knowledge of project controls: scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and reporting.
Proficiency with project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Demonstrated experience managing contractors, subcontractors, and multi-stakeholder environments.
Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and organizational capability.
