Your future role
Ernst-Reuter-Platz 6, in the heart of Berlin, is home to Alstom's DACH regional headquarters. Up to 500 colleagues of more than 40 nationalities work here, focusing on project management, business development, and regional strategy, with a special emphasis on rail digitalisation. We are seeking a motivated and Junior Professional to join us on a VIE role, as a Regional Insurance Manager in our dynamic team in Berlin.

You'll play a key role in supporting the effective management of insurance activities across the Central & Northern Europe region. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (project, engineering, sourcing, finance), brokers, and insurers, ensuring strong insurance governance, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of tasks such as supporting tenders and projects with insurance reviews and managing global and local insurance programmes, but also contribute to claims management and the development of insurance awareness sessions.
We’ll look to you for:
* Supporting tenders and projects by assisting with insurance reviews, gap analyses, and contract clauses.
* Managing the administration of global and local insurance programmes, including policy documentation and premium allocation follow-up.
* Contributing to claims management by liaising with brokers, experts, and insurers.
* Maintaining and updating insurance reporting tools and dashboards.
* Assisting with operational processes, such as invoice validation and data accuracy.
* Participating in insurer loss prevention visits and supporting the implementation of recommendations.

* Experience or understanding of insurance, risk, finance, or project environments (internships or academic exposure).
* Knowledge of insurance governance and data management processes.
* Familiarity with Excel and reporting tools.
* A strong analytical mindset and excellent organisational skills.
* Proactive and solution-oriented approach with an ownership mindset.
* Effective communication skills to interact with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
