Networks and IT security
THE RBB
In the Infrastructure department of the Technology division, you will provide support in the specialist area of networks and IT security. We rely on state-of-the-art technologies such as Software Defined Networking (SDN) with Cisco ACI and enterprise firewalls from Palo Alto Networks.
YOUR TASKS
* Administration: of the network infrastructure (Cisco ACI) and the enterprise firewall system (Palo Alto) as well as the IP services.
* Monitoring: Support in monitoring the SIEM/SOC system and analyzing relevant LOG data.
* Migration: Support with the migration of the network data center infrastructure with Cisco ACI.
YOUR PROFILE
A higher education entrance qualification is required (e.g. entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences, general higher education entrance qualification) or several years of qualified professional experience in accordance with the applicable higher education regulations.
* Professional experience in the IT sector, ideally with in-depth knowledge of network protocols and IT infrastructures
* Strong sense of personal responsibility and a high degree of reliability and accountability
* Thinking ability paired with a clear and transparent communication style

THE IVZ
We are the internal IT service provider of ARD, i.e. all ARD broadcasters, Deutschlandradio and DW under the leadership of rbb, and provide central IT services at the locations of the state broadcasters and Deutschlandradio.
The preferred place of work is Potsdam or Cologne, but another place of work at one of our IVZ locations in Leipzig, Hamburg, Munich or is also possible.
