About the Position
As a Senior Network Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and evolving our robust network infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing complex network solutions, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability across our cloud and on-premise environments. Your expertise will be crucial in driving architectural innovation and maintaining the integrity of our critical network systems.
Your responsibilities include:
* Developing cutting-edge network architectures with a deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, IaaS service models (network, compute, storage), and deployment models (public, private, hybrid clouds).
* Creating and maintaining comprehensive network architecture diagrams, detailed documentation, and robust operational procedures.
* Designing and implementing overlay and underlay networks for advanced Software-Defined Networking (SDN) environments.
* Ensuring the highest level of network security through the application of security controls, effective segmentation, and Zero-Trust principles.
* Integrating high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery capabilities into all network designs.
* Translating architectural designs into clear and detailed work packages for our development teams.
* Leveraging best practices in physical networking, including switching, routing, and rack cabling, with an advantage for experience in Smart NICs.
Must-Have Skills
* Strong understanding of Cloud Computing architectures, IaaS service models, and deployment models (public, private, hybrid).
* Expertise in developing and maintaining detailed network architecture diagrams and documentation.
* Familiarity with Overlay and Underlay networks for Software-Defined Networking (SDN) environments.
* In-depth knowledge of network security controls, segmentation, and Zero-Trust principles.
* Proven experience with High Availability, Redundancy, and Disaster Recovery features in network designs.
* Ability to create detailed and clear work packages for development teams.
* Experience with physical networking standards and best practices (switching, routing, cabling).
