Cashmaster International is a leading, global player in the design, manufacture, and sale of cash management products and solutions.

With the company experiencing high growth in Germany, and a commitment underway towards broadening our product range and territorial reach across Europe, we are very keen to recruit a capable, ambitious, and proven Senior Business Development executive to lead and manage the pursuit of additional growth and contribute to our future success.

With the Cashmaster One money-counting range, Cashmaster already holds many existing customer relationships with leading players within the European retail, convenience-store, grocery, fast-food, and hospitality sectors. Recently, we have broadened our product range with the introduction of additional complementary products including counterfeit note detectors, with further initiatives are in progress to launch other innovative products and services associated with cash management.

To help us promote and sell our products and solutions to new customers and also develop new territories/channels, we seek to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Business Development Director, ideally with hands-on experience in selling technology-based solutions and products in a B2B environment.

Key attributes for success

This position requires strong inter-personal relationship development and solution selling skills which will be supported by relevant prospecting, lead generation and account management experience.

As a hands-on contributor to the sales process, part of the role also offers management of the full sales cycle - from that first outreach activity right through to contract negotiation and conversion.

The role involves hybrid working arrangements between home and regular travel as required to meet new prospects (and a few existing customers) within Germany and across Europe, as well as visiting our Support Centre in Huckelhoven, near Cologne.

• Marketing cognizant - you have strong experience in innovative techniques that build brand awareness and efficiently grow our sales pipeline, and will be a strong contributor to the planning of our strategic marketing initiatives.

Upon joining our team, you will undergo a rigorous onboarding program that includes relevant sales and product training, following which you will use your proven research, prospecting, lead generation skills and experience which will result in the following outcomes within 2-3 months:

• Conducted dozens of conversations and meetings with decision-makers within targeted companies.

• Instigated and begun trials of Cashmaster products.

• Built a strong pipeline of new prospects.

• Strong expectation of increased sales revenues from new customers.

• Progressed the expansion of our geographical reach across Europe.

Experience and Education

• Proficient in both German and English language

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in lead generation or regional sales development ‘hunter’ role, ideally involving the sale B2B products and/or technical solutions or software.

• Hands-on B2B sales team member with consistent over-quota production

• Demonstrates strong people leadership and management skills.

• Ability to evaluate (and sell) future process improvements and projected ROI arising, as part of a solution-based sales approach

• Strong technical and IT/B2B products fluency.

• Previous experience of prospecting, demand generation and/or Inside Sales with proven success in developing and closing new business.

• Ability to manage multiple inquiries at any one time.

• Capable of developing strong client relationships and being credible with senior-level executives across the enterprise.

• Consultative-based enterprise-wide selling experience.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Professional business acumen, management, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working with CRM systems on a daily basis as a sales tracking tool.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, tech, software, or related field (desirable but not essential)

• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to “think out of the box” and “quick on your feet”

• Track record of building successful relationships

• Responsive with strong organizational and follow-up skills

• Reliable with an ability to flourish with minimal guidance and be proactive
