CTC is partnering with one of Europe’s leading biopharmaceutical companies, a dynamic and science-driven organization headquartered in Switzerland, with commercial operations across North America and Europe. The company is dedicated to advancing the development of innovative medicines and has established a strong presence in the German market through its operations based in Munich.
We are looking for an experienced Medical Information Officer & Compliance Manager, based in Munich, to support our client’s Medical and Compliance activities in Germany and Austria. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to operate across two strategic domains: scientific information and corporate compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
As Information Officer:
* Ensure all scientific and promotional information on medicinal products complies with German and Austrian laws, including §74a AMG and the HWG.
* Review and approve product-related materials to ensure accuracy and consistency with the marketing authorization.
* Oversee local processes for the preparation and approval of product documentation and promotional content.
* Act as a key liaison between Medical Affairs and Regulatory to ensure alignment and compliance.
As Compliance Manager:
* Act as the local Compliance lead, ensuring adherence to both internal standards and applicable healthcare regulations.
* Provide training on the Code of Business Conduct and related compliance policies.
* Oversee the digital review and approval of Health Care Professional (HCP) engagements.
* Monitor compliance processes, support investigations, and help implement remediation plans as needed.
* Advise and support internal stakeholders on compliance matters and maintain readiness for internal/external audits.
* Foster a culture of ethical business practices and cross-functional collaboration.
Candidate Requirements
* University degree in Medicine, Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related life sciences field.
* At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including 2+ years in Medical Affairs, Compliance, or Legal functions.
* Recognized expertise and reliability under §74a AMG (Arzneimittelgesetz).
* Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance standards in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, including FSA Codex.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
* Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with European HQ teams.
