Project Description:
As part of a cross-border IT project, external support is needed for the development, standardization, and operation of container-based platforms. The goal is to introduce sustainable DevOps and operational standards for containerized applications across development and target operating environments. The focus is on Kubernetes-based platforms, automated deployment processes, and Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps approaches.
Responsibilities:
Conceptualization and further development of container-based platform architectures;
setup, operation, and standardization of Kubernetes environments;
automation of build, deployment, and operational processes;
use of Infrastructure-as-Code approaches for reproducible deployment;
implementation of GitOps principles for configuration and deployment management;
creation of operational, security, and architectural concepts;
documentation, presentations, and technical coordination in committees.
Must-have criteria:
Several years of practical experience with Kubernetes in production environments
; sound experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker/OCI);
experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC);
experience with GitOps principles and version-based infrastructure management
; experience in building and operating CI/CD pipelines;
knowledge of DevOps toolchains and automated operational processes
; experience in creating operational and security concepts for container platforms;
very good German language skills
Long-term perspective with extension option.
