People like you.Visit our careers page to see what exciting opportunities and company perks await!Job Description: Client Engagement Manager, Distribution (Account Manager, m/w/d)As a Client Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for supporting clients and channel partners with focus on automotive clients, ensuring exceptional customer experience and driving design initiatives and projects that contribute to business growth within an assigned region.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for clients and channel partners within an assigned regionIdentify new automotive accounts and develop compelling business cases with Microchip’s solutionsApply creative strategies to attract new clients and solve complex challengesDevelop and execute cross-regional strategies to achieve business objectivesBuild strong partnerships with clients and channel partners by presenting Microchip’s unique business insights and cutting-edge technologiesPrepare and drive regular Channel Reviews and joint visits with our Channel Partners at clients to actively drive projects into revenueMonitor industry trends and identify emerging opportunities to engage new clientsBenefitsMicrochip’s non-commissioned total compensation and benefits package includes a competitive base salary, bonus aligned with company goals, employee stock purchase program, etc.Opportunity to manage accounts on an entrepreneurial and collaborative basis and be compensated for success in driving the organization’s growthRequirements/Qualifications:Job RequirementsSolid understanding of the semiconductor Industry and its channel partner networksGood understanding of Automotive market dynamics and long-term industry experienceAbility to create market specific analysis and mapping these to Microchip solutionsBuilding, maintaining and synergizing partnerships with our distribution networkUnderstanding Microchips technological capabilities and resources with the ability to translate those into our client’s business requirementsAbility to communicate with confidence into C-Level and Top Management contactsGood understanding of embedded electronic system solutions and ability to engage with Research and Development teamsAbility to create market specific analysis and map these with Microchip solutionsUnderstanding Microchips technological capabilities and resources with the ability to translate those into our client’s business and system requirementsDemonstrated ability to effectively leverage artificial intelligence (AI) tools and platforms to enhance productivity, decision-making, and customer engagementQualifications And ExperienceMaster’s/Bachelor’s degree in a business and/or engineering discipline with a strong academic track record5+ years of relevant work experienceBusiness fluent language skills in German and EnglishRelevant market knowledge and industry experienceCompetenciesStrategic/Critical Thinking—Systematically solves problems and hypothesizes possible client pain points, expectations, and implicit needs; brainstorms with team members to devise solutions to solve complex client challengesCommunication—Tailors communication to the client’s needs with authority; effectively delivers presentations and has strong verbal and written communication skillsInterpersonal Influence—Uses rational and emotional drivers that would appeal to clients to comfortably drive conversations to elements of value for both partiesNetworking—Identifies the right client stakeholders and builds connections quickly to drive consensus for design wins; works cooperatively with a wide range of internal stakeholders for successTravel Time: 25% - 50%To all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
