We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the ARIS team in Germany to streamline and automate software development processes, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and enhance the developer experience. Essential Functions Design and automate CI/CD pipelines following GitOps best practices Design and implementation of an Internal Developer Platform to improve developer experience Development of tools for automation and self-service within the software development lifecycle Administer and continuously improve our internal DevOps tools (including GitHub, Jira, Confluence) Collaborate with developers and CloudOps teams to optimize and standardize development processes Support the introduction of new innovative tools and technologies Define and implement standards, documentation, and best practices Minimum Requirements Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification Several years of experience in software development with common programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python) and tools (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions) Experience with Jira, Confluence or Jira Service Management Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) A proactive working style and a strong sense of ownership Experience in agile software development (Scrum) Excellent teamwork and communication skills in both German and English What’s in it for you?
