What you'll do
1. Build services to enable embedding generative AI capabilities in SAP business applications.
2. Build scalable and fault-tolerant infrastructure for orchestrating AI workloads leveraging containers and Kubernetes.
3. Build automation and monitoring capabilities to enable daily continuous delivery of our services.
4. Develop proof-of-concepts to evaluate tools and services as potential future components of our offerings.
What you bring
5. Student (f/m/d) in computer science, software engineering, or related field
6. Good programming skills in one or more of Python, Go, Java, or other modern programming languages
7. Eager to learn about novel technologies in the context of cloud-native engineering, distributed systems, DevOps, and AI
8. Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken), German a plus
9. Location: living close to Berlin/Potsdam to be able to commute to the office
10. Beneficial Knowledge or initial experience with (generative) AI Knowledge or initial experience with continuous integration and delivery Knowledge or initial experience with REST APIs, Kubernetes, Docker, or other container/PaaS environments Knowledge or initial experience with agile software development processes (Scrum, Kanban, XP)

Our team, developing functionalities of the Generative AI Hub, acts as an integral part of the SAP Business AI area within SAP. We are driven by our mission to integrate the latest technology in AI into all our enterprise applications, thereby empowering our customers to maximize the potential of their business data.
You will work with a highly skilled team that is based across locations in Germany, India, and Singapore. As part of our team, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the broader AI ecosystem while working with advanced technologies and tackling real-world problems at the intersection of AI, Cloud, and DevOps.
