Your mission
* Oversee daily accounting operations (accounts payable, receivable, general ledger).
* Coordinate with tax advisors and accountants in Germany (and Sweden for inter-company balances).
* Manage invoice processing, payment runs, and employee expenses.
* Set up and maintain cost centers, project structures, and account assignments.
* Support tax filings, audits, and monthly/annual closings.
* Prepare and manage grant applications and usage reports (e.g., GRW, EIT, EU).
* Ensure compliance with funding rules and track project progress.
* Align grant reporting with accounting processes (e.g., timesheets, expense tracking).
* Continuously improve and document financial and administrative processes.
Your profile
* Experience in finance, accounting, or grant management—ideally in a scale-up or funding-heavy environment.
* Solid understanding of German accounting and tax regulations.
* Familiarity with public funding programs and grant compliance.
* Confident use of DATEV and Microsoft Office tools; experience with Pleo and Personio is a plus.
* Structured, hands-on, and comfortable working across different systems.
* Fluent in German and English—bonus points for Swedish.
