The department Carbon Capture and Utilization / Storage (CCUS) in Heidelberg is looking for a Working student (f/m/d) for up to 20 hours per week or an Intern for at least 6 months.
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
1. Contribute to the CO2 Neutrality Roadmap 2050, i.e., pro-actively shape the success story of Heidelberg Materials’ decarbonization journey
2. Support the development of a range of CCUS (Carbon Capture and Utilization/Storage) projects in close collaboration within our CCUS department
3. Interaction with our various business entities in different countries and also external partner firms is possible
4. As an integral part of the Team, working on own projects with own responsibilities (with clear guidance), preparing analyses, business cases, and presentations
5. Support the organisation of our relevant CCUS events (w/ internal and external stakeholders)
6. Contribute to the early scouting of new developments and value-chains in CCUS
7. Support the CCUS department in its role of building and exchanging know-how (research, scouting, and structuring reports)
YOUR PROFILE
8. Business administration Bachelor's or Master's degree studies (or technical / mixed background), with a strong interest in business cases for sustainability/carbon capturing/decarbonization work
9. Keen to dive into the detailed financial and technical aspects of CCUS project development
10. Ability to digest new information swiftly
11. Experience with Power Point, Excel. Optional: other Microsoft office tools, AI tools
12. Dynamic attitude and willingness to interact with our CCUS team, and external/internal stakeholders
