The Implementations Manager utilizes their project management expertise by leading and organizing internal and external resources to successfully manage complex customer installations into CyrusOneu2019s data centers. The Implementations Manager is a critical member of the Customer Success organization and thereby defines our customeru2019s onboarding experience while enabling customer growth with CyrusOne. Essential Functions : Project Management Process Effectively initiates, defines, and evaluates the customer project through communications, contract and documentation review, and associated business analysis Accurately identifies stakeholders, sets expectations, and addresses related project impacts and goals Methodically assembles the project plan including the scope, WBS, schedule, costs, quality, communication, revenue intervals, and risks based on the contract, and through partnership with the customer, CyrusOne account team, construction, service delivery, facilities, network, security, and associated vendors Manages and enables the project team, resources, and vendors to execute the tasks, deliverables, and associated milestones efficiently while owning the customer project communication Analyzes and identifies solutions to mitigate risk and impacts to quality, cost, scope, and time while offering guidance and opportunities with a focus on customer satisfaction Monitors, controls, and reports on project work through tools and feedback mechanisms to effectively communicate progress to stakeholders including executive leadership Performs integrated change control while sourcing and implementing collaborative decisions to achieve the customeru2019s desired results Articulates closing processes, revenue recognition requirements, and stakeholder acceptance, while generating reports and surveys to enable post-install customer success and account management ownership transition Accomplishes successful project closure through on-time delivery of CyrusOneu2019s data center products and services Minimum Requirements: Communications and Relationship Management Willingness to attract and nurture customer relationships, vendor relationships, and industry partner contacts to enable business growth, positive reputation, and continued success Ability to tactfully navigate through escalations, challenging conversations, conflicting interests, and financial concerns while maintaining composure, core values, and goodwill Desire to build and develop relationships with CyrusOne colleagues to increase organizational effectiveness and mutual value generation Naturally enthusiastic for the work, industry, and growth opportunities, while demonstrating strong interpersonal, written, and oral skills Technology savvy with the ability to adopt and respect global forms of communication including cultural norms, language barriers, and time zone differences Business Process Innovation Customer success mentality with the ability to prioritize the customer experience throughout the project lifecycle Ability to document current processes while conceptualizing evolved processes through systems and automation Aptitude to develop feedback systems, surveys, reports, and lessons learned documentation Education: BA or BS in technical discipline or equivalent practical experience Experience/Skills: 5 years in data center and IT infrastructure services Extensive experience in data center builds, migrations, and installations Knowledge of telecom, network, cloud services, and IT systems Knowledge of Auto CAD, Visio, and Microsoft Project Certifications: PMP certification or equivalent demonstrated practical project management experience CyrusOne is an equal opportunity employer.
