We are seeking a Key Account Manager to join our high-performing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth and managing key client relationships within your assigned territory.
What You’ll Do
1. Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives for major pharmaceutical clients within your territory
2. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts
3. Prepare for client interactions by identifying key stakeholders and building effective, trust-based relationships to close deals efficiently
4. Manage customer relationships across multiple levels to ensure smooth order execution and long-term satisfaction
5. Conduct regular in-person visits to maintain strategic relationships and uncover new business opportunities
6. Travel approximately 40% of the time, including some overnight stays and occasional weekends
What You’ll Bring
7. Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience within the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical sector
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
9. A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
10. Proven ability to identify, develop, and close opportunities using a consultative, strategic sales approach
11. Strong presentation skills and solid commercial acumen
12. A natural relationship-builder who earns trust with clients and internal stakeholders alike
13. Excellent time management and prioritization skills with a focus on achieving sustainable, long-term results
