Security Leadership Role
Are you a strategic security leader with experience in managing engineering teams? Do you have a strong track record of designing and architecting secure systems?
We are seeking an experienced security leader to join our team. As a Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for building and managing services that detect and automate the mitigation of cybersecurity threats.
You will manage software development engineers, security engineers, and data scientists to develop innovative security solutions at massive scale. Our services protect the AWS cloud for all customers and preserve our customers' trust in us.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in security leadership, with experience in leading by example, innovating, and solving complex security challenges. You will set measurable goals for delivery by your team, orchestrate strategy and direction, roadmap planning, and project execution scheduling.
Key responsibilities include:

* Hiring, building, and managing a cross-functional engineering team
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 3+ years of engineering team management experience
* 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
* 3+ years of designing or architecting secure systems experience
* 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experience
* Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle
