About the Role
As General Manager for Micromobility in Germany, you will bear full responsibility for managing and overseeing operations in a region consisting of at least 5+ hubs and 10+ cities, leading a large operations team of +50 employees. You will strategically drive expansion efforts within the region and take full P&L ownership to ensure top‑and bottom‑line results are continuously improved.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
* Assume responsibility for the P&L, steering revenue growth, ensuring profitability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Define, architect, and optimize local operations while setting clear strategies and goals for the operations team.
* Utilize and promote data analysis to optimize operational and financial performance, ensuring data is the driver behind decision‑making at every step.
* Advocate and elevate Bolt’s brand, product, and service by working closely with local authorities and policymakers.
* Expand Bolt’s presence and services across Germany by identifying and launching new cities.
* Identify trends, risks, and capture mitigation opportunities that may impact the business at a local level.
* Take ownership of Bolt’s growth in Germany by ensuring local operations and HQ teams collaborate proactively to meet business goals.
* Collaborate closely with the Regional Manager and HQ teams (Marketing, Product, Finance, Hardware, COPS, etc.) to tackle operational challenges and improve product efficiency.
About You
* 7+ years of proven and relevant experience in an operations management or general management role with P&L experience.
* Strong leader and collaborator with excellent negotiation and communication skills in English and German.
* Highly analytical with a data‑driven mindset and strong data analysis skills.
* Proficient with tools like Google Sheets and Excel.
* Decisions guided by tactical & critical thinking, root‑cause analysis, and judgment calls.
* Track record in team management with a focus on growth and development.
* Exceptional organization and project‑management skills, able to prioritize and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
