Hardware development: Design, prototype, and integrate new features to enhance the active lighting, thermal management, automated battery charging and mechanical structure of the robot's mobile base Navigation system: Support the development of environmental perception and localization systems for improved and safer navigation within greenhouses in cooperation with the camera vision & robotics teams Performance Evaluation: Benchmark and optimize the solutions developed in our lab in a greenhouse, in close alignment with our field engineers Concept development: Explore new mechatronic concepts for the automated maintenance of critical robot components, such as its end effectors Profil Pursuing a master's degree in mechatronic, mechanical or electrical engineering Experience in designing, integration and testing of mechatronic systems; experience with robots, sensors and actuators is a plus Experience in prototyping Experience with AGVs and AMRs mobile robots is a plus Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, hands-on approach Ability to work well in an interdisciplinary, international team Good command of English, German skills are an asset but not required Sounds exciting?
