Line Supervisor / Process Engineer - Kortrijk

Barco is op zoek naar een gedreven Supervisor/Process Engineer om het Manufacturing team in Kortrijk te versterken. Dit team staat onder andere in voor de assemblage en productie van onze geavanceerde netwerkapparatuur en high-end projectoren, een technologie die wereldwijd wordt ingezet in veeleisende toepassingen.
Functie
Als Supervisor/Process Engineer neem je de leiding over één of meer productie afdelingen en sta je in voor de vlotte werking ervan.
1. Je stuurt een team van een 30-tal medewerkers aan en krijgt hierbij support van Line Responsibles.
2. Je werkt initieel in nachtregime (dit kan afhankelijk van het productienood later veranderen in dagregime).
3. Je bent sterk aanwezig om de medewerkers te coachen en processen te observeren.
4. Je coördineert het productieproces zodat je de vooropgestelde planning zo efficiënt mogelijk kan afwerken.
5. Samen met je collega’s bewaak je de operationele KPI’s.
6. Je zoekt naar continue verbeteringen van bestaande flows.
7. Je doet technische oorzaakanalyses en neemt een sturende rol op bij het implementeren van correctieve acties.
8. Samen met het industrialisatie team, zorg je voor een vlotte introductie van nieuwe producten en tools in productie.
9. Je werkt nauw samen met industrialisatie, plannings-, logistieke- & kwaliteitsverantwoordelijken.
10. Je rapporteert aan de Manufacturing Manager.
Jouw profiel
11. Je bent een industrieel ingenieur, of evenwaardig door ervaring.
12. Ervaring met people management in een productie omgeving is een sterke plus.
13. Je houdt van people management.
14. Je houdt ervan processen te optimaliseren.
15. Je hebt een hands-on mindset en bent technisch sterk.
16. Begrippen als Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Agile en Factory of the Future zijn jou niet vreemd.
17. Je werkt vlot met MS Office en hebt een goede praktische kennis van het Engels.
