PhD Student
We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join our research team and contribute to the development of innovative biophysical modeling techniques.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, validating, and applying biophysical models of the tumor microenvironment based on diffusion MRI data. This role involves:
* Designing and implementing novel biophysical models of the TME
* Developing and optimizing MR sequences on a preclinical scanner
* Analyzing MRI data and performing biophysical modeling tasks
* Collaborating with partner institutions on bioreactor projects
* Presenting research findings at internal meetings and international conferences
Requirements:
* Master's degree in Physics, Biomedical Imaging, or a related field
* Strong interest in magnetic resonance, biomedical imaging, and biophysical modeling
* Proficiency in programming languages (C++, Matlab, Python)
* FELASA qualification is beneficial for animal experiments
* Prior experience with diffusion MRI, biophysical modeling, and tumor models is advantageous
* Excellent scientific work motivation and willingness to collaborate in an interdisciplinary team
* Good English communication skills; German skills are desirable
