The Opportunity:
CACI is looking fora SeniorArtificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) Engineer,to support our NATO Allied Special Operations Forces Command (SOFCOM) customer in Mons, Belgium. This position is contingent upon award of a pending contract.This position is located OCONUS.
Responsibilities:
1. Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of data science strategies, methodologies, processes, and tools
2. Develops advanced data science algorithms (such as predictive analysis, ML algorithms, AI, and other data science methods) as analytic solution sets for the warfighter
3. Supports data analysis, integration, fusion activities to correlate operations, intelligence, logistics, and sensor data with overlays to generate the Commander’s Common Operating Picture (COP) and Common Intelligence Picture (CIP)
4. Leads the development and implementation of predictive models and ML algorithms that analyze large datasets and provide insights
5. Designs and deploys data-driven solutions to drive actionable decision-making to improve outcomes
6. Assesses the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques and supports network monitoring; data feeds, ensuring continuity of feeds to coalition networks and other security domains via CDS; and database designs
7. Coordinates with C2 system administrators to configure and troubleshoot COP and CIP data feeds
8. Monitors and maintains COP Synch Tool (CST) and other data feed connections with CCMDs, Component Commands, and outside agencies
9. Monitors Theater Missile Warning feeds and configures displays to show Theater Missile Warning Activity per USEUCOM Tier 1 site requirements
10. Implements new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analysis
11. Assesses emerging policies, technology, and best practices for applicability to data management and generation of COPs/CIPs
12. Frequently attends and participates in meetings to discuss new technologies, technology insertion projects, and modernization roadmaps
13. Presents and visualizes data insights to stakeholders in a comprehensible manner
14. Supports reporting and information-sharing requirements by collaborating with system owners and operators to ensure the accuracy of the information provided
15. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments
16. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
17. May supervise others
Qualifications:
18. Experience 10-12 years with a BA/BS in related field preferred or equivalent experience considered.
19. Possess a Secret clearance with the ability to retain.
20. Displays mastery of advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning tools and techniques, preferably on military and defense applications.
21. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and AI algorithms, ensuring delivery of actionable insights for complex operational challenges.
22. Exhibits strategic expertise in designing and implementing large-scale data science projects, from data collection and preprocessing to model deployment and evaluation.
23. Demonstrates proficiency with cutting-edge data science tools, cloud computing platforms, and programming languages essential for defense-oriented analytics.
24. Excels in translating technical findings into clear, impactful recommendations for senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
25. Preferred background in government or military data science initiatives, cybersecurity analytics, and ethical AI implementation in sensitive environments.
26. Certification – CompTIA Security +
27. Desired any AI/Machine Learning-related certification
28. Experience in supporting the NATO Allies Special Forces Command (SOFCOM) Mission Partner (MP).
29. Experience managing complex IT and communication system projects.
30. Experienced in team building

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$98,500-$206,800
