Director of Sales and Marketing
We are currently seeking a skilled commercial director to spearhead the development and execution of our mass retail channel strategy within Germany.
This role will focus on accelerating growth through strategic partnerships with key retailers, delivering successful Go to Market Strategies, meeting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and shaping our medium to longer-term future plans with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Channel Leadership: Full ownership of the Grocery and Discount channels in Germany, driving sales growth and market share expansion.
* Customer Strategy: Develop and execute differentiated strategies for each retailer, aligned with broader commercial objectives.
* Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop a team of National Account Managers and Key Account executives.
* P & L Management: Oversee sales forecasting, gross margins, trade spends, promotional budgets, and revenue targets per customer.
* Negotiation Expertise: Lead annual negotiations with local and regional customers, including buying groups.
* Retailer Partnerships: Foster strong, trust-based relationships with top retailer partners.
* Contribution to Wider Success: As a key member of the leadership team, contribute to wider Germany sales success through undertaking leadership projects and deputising for the Senior Sales Director as required.
