Job Description The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As an Automotive Strategic Account Technical Leader for Volkswagen Group, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Building technical relationships across all levels of the customer organization and aligning 3M internal process with customer technology adoption and commercialization process Leads front-end innovation processes with account and manages strategic account’s prioritized collaboration projects Developing strategic account’s customer needs roadmap and translating customer needs into potential 3M solutions Building and managing new product pipeline for assigned account(s), champions and drives New Product Introduction activities Delivering the technical components of product specification for new programs Collaborating internally with Vertical, Product Platform, and Corporate Research Laboratory teams on technology and capability development Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering from an accredited institution. Profound experience in one or more of the following areas; Application Engineering, Technical Service, Engineering Proficiency in English and German Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution Profound automotive industry experience Demonstrated track record in significant contributions to an organization through growth initiatives Collaborative interpersonal style Strong communication and presentation skills, proven ability to develop and maintain productive networks, Teamwork skills Job specifics: Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M CTC in Neuss.
