Job Summary:
The primary objective of this role is to oversee the implementation of medical excellence strategies in line with global and local regulatory requirements.
* Develop and implement processes, tools, and materials to drive Medical Excellence and streamline operational activities.
* Contribute to the design and execution of global strategies in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring best-in-class medical infield team performance.
* Lead digital transformation projects to enhance AbbVie's internet presence, multi-channel communication, and expertise building for the medical infield team.
* Stay up-to-date with current market trends and develop actionable recommendations to support business growth.
* Oversee internal medical communication initiatives together with Corporate Communication, BTS, CEX, and Marketing teams.
* Collaborate with CEX, BTS, and medical training managers to lead initiatives enhancing excellence of field medical teams.
* Pursue external project opportunities beyond the pharmaceutical industry to expand AbbVie's reach and capabilities.
* Partner with subject matter experts across therapeutic areas to support scientific communication priorities.
* Advise Affiliate Medical Affairs on medical communication topics.
