Your tasks
- Application development: You will develop complex embedded applications in C/C++ that are specifically tailored to the requirements of QNX.
- Interface design: You implement network standards (e.g., SNMP, Redfish, CAN) and, if required, design modern user interfaces with Qt.
- System hardening: You make our systems safe by ensuring compliance with safety standards at the application level.
- Testing & Tools: You accompany your software through the entire lifecycle from automated software testing to release management via Git, cmake and Artifactory.
- Cross-platform work: You develop confidently in Linux and Windows environments and may even bridge the gap to the microcontroller/microprocessor world (e.g. STM32, ARM).
Your profile
- You have a completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable technical education with several years of professional experience in the IT infrastructure environment.
- Embedded & Architectures: You are a professional in embedded software development, especially on ARM64 architectures.
- Operating system know-how: You feel at home in the world of common embedded operating systems and work confidently in Linux and Windows environments.
- Tooling & DevOps: Git, cmake and Artifactory are your daily companions for a clean development workflow.
- You have experience in implementing system safety standards in software development.
- Protocols & Networking: You are familiar with network standards such as SNMP, Redfish (REST) or CAN.
- Quality assurance through structured software testing is not a foreign concept to you.
- You work analytically and in a structured manner, and you keep a cool head even in critical situations.
- You have good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
- You are willing to undertake occasional national and international business trips.
