Join our team in Mannheim and play a key role in coordinating our logistics operations, managing third‑party logistics partners (3PLs), and supporting customer service activities, with a particular focus on Switzerland.
Logistics & 3PL Management
• Coordination between internal teams and external warehousing and transportation service providers, including ongoing monitoring of 3PL processes and performance
• Alignment and review of new customer‑specific and operational requirements in collaboration with 3PL partners • Coordination of co‑packing activities within the warehouse, including assembly, packaging, and value‑added services
• Monitoring and control of EDI interfaces between Business Central and logistics service providers • Acting as an interface to Customer Service for logistics‑related claims and issues
• Preparation of reports and KPI tracking, including service provider performance metrics • Invoice verification (freight and warehousing), cost control, and ensuring budget adherence
• Management, documentation, and continuous optimisation of returns and shipping processes, including employee training
• Functional support for logistics and supply chain projects, including process improvements
• Coordination of incoming sample shipments for new products from Asia, including international couriers and shipping documentation
• Organisation of shipments and returns for international trade fairs, including delivery tracking
• Conducting regular inventory reconciliations to ensure consistency between physical stock, warehouse records, and ERP systems
Customer Service & Order Management (Focus Switzerland)
• Independent execution of order management processes, from quotation and order entry through to on‑time delivery and invoicing
• Processing and resolution of customer enquiries and complaints in close coordination with internal teams • Close collaboration with Sales, including support throughout all phases of the sales process • Accurate recording and maintenance of customer and order data within the ERP system • Ongoing coordination with logistics partners to ensure high service levels and timely deliveries
Completed vocational training or a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience in logistics or supply chain management, ideally working with 3PLs, freight forwarders, and customer service processes
• Fluent German and English skills (required)
• Confident use of logistics and analytics tools such as Business Central, Excel, Pivot tables, Tableau or Power BI
• Experience in international logistics processes and knowledge of foreign trade regulations is a plus
