Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join their team as a Project Manager & Pre-Sales Consultant at a Japanese IT company. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing project execution while also supporting the sales team through technical consultation and solution proposals.
* Take overall accountability for project/program delivery and execution
* Develop, manage, and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets
* Coordinate and oversee multiple local projects within a broader program
* Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
* Manage sub-contractors and external partners to ensure smooth project execution
* Ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet client expectations
* Maintain project assets and documentation; continuously improve project frameworks
* Provide guidance and feedback to team members to enhance performance and quality
* Collaborate with Sales team to identify business opportunities and client needs
* Support proposal creation and contribute to deal-closing strategies
* Liaise with cross-functional teams to develop competitive service offerings
Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in program/project management with a proven track record of delivering complex projects (e.g., multinational ERP/CRM implementations)
* Strong knowledge of modern cloud-based system architecture, especially in data management and analytics
* Clear and confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
* Hands-on, proactive mindset with a strong commitment to project success
* Strong problem-solving and solution-oriented thinking
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Experienced with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, MS Project, and Slack
* Knowledge of project management methodologies such as IPMA, PRINCE2, or PMP
* Willingness to travel for business as needed
* Excellent communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in the automotive dealership or manufacturing industries
* Familiarity with remote collaboration tools (MS Teams, Zoom, WebEx, Google Meet)
