For our department Ground Operations within
Airline Commercial , we are looking for a (an):
Manager Ground Operations & Agreements (m/f/x)
Main duties:
Responsible for the contract management and performance of the stations/airports.
Identify, select, contract and monitor services of Ground Service Providers and other providers at Airports
Monitor Service Level Agreements with Ground Service Providers and internal departments to ensure
commercial aspects as well to ensure safety, compliance and operational aspects of the operations.
Monitor overall performance and propose/take actions to improve ground handling services and on-time
performance.
Establish and maintain strong relationship with all clients, partners and networks.
Carry out administrative tasks such as managing budgets, gathering data, preparing reports, database
management.
Monitor regulatory and other industry changes affecting processes & procedures within the scope of Ground Operations and propose/implement changes if/where applicable
We are looking for a candidate who will support our Ground Operations Safety & Compliance function.
This person will directly report to Nominated person Ground Operations for regulatory compliance, documentation and operational standards across airline Ground Operations area, with responsibility for:
Monitor and implement regulatory changes affecting Ground Operations Manual and De-icing Manual using WebManuals platform
Develop, update, and maintain operational documentation (procedures, memos, instructions)
Support safety, security and compliance matters
Performing Management of Change and Risk Assessments
Support internal and external audits and inspections
Assess and manage special operational cases requiring feasibility analysis for exceptions not covered by existing procedures
Contribute to the introduction and/or review of airline products and services
Required profile:
Minimum required criteria
Provide a university degree in Business Administration or similar line of studies and/or a proven experience on a similar position
Show proven facilitation, communication and presentation skills
Show a good sense of priorities
Demonstrate good presentation and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company
Accept Duty Travel
Show strong negotiation skills
Show strong sense for commercial thinking
Be able to take initiative
Be capable of working independently as well as in a team
Be capable to demonstrate IT/Office tools user skills at advanced level (e.g. Word, Excel, editing and compiling documents)
Show excellent communication skills in English, ideally as well as skills in French/German (spoken and written)
Be familiar with current recognized Aviation Regulations & Standards (ICAO, IATA, IOSA, EASA) and capable to identify changes and propose/implement changes internally if/where applicable
Desired or to be acquired criteria
Altéa DCS knowlegde, relevant IATA trainings
Relevant IATA SGHA training and/or other related trainings within scope of Ground Operations
The ideal candidate
Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language (i.e. Spanish, Italian) is considered as asset
