Scope

We are seeking a highly motivated Principal Scientist specialising in Single-Cell RNA, TCR data analysis, and experience in deep learning, structural biology, and immunology. This role will be a key contributor alongside a team of talented computational biologists and experimental scientists in the Oncology Translational Research Department. The Scientist will be responsible for combining single-cell TCR sequencing analysis with advanced machine learning approaches to predict TCR:peptide-MHC interactions, characterise tumor-reactive T cell repertoires, and develop predictive biomarkers for therapy response in precision immunotherapy programs.

Responsibilities

* Lead comprehensive analysis of single-cell RNA-seq with paired TCR sequencing including clonotype identification, repertoire diversity, and integration with transcriptional phenotypes; building and maintaining pipelines in Python.
* Work with deep learning architectures (transformers, graph neural networks, CNNs) for TCR:pMHC interaction prediction using sequence and structural features.
* Collaborate closely with the Oncology Translational Research team members, immunologists, and AI/ML engineers to translate TCR insights into clinical biomarkers.
* Develop predictive biomarker signatures correlating TCR features with clinical outcomes and support companion diagnostic development.

Why You?

Basic Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

* PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Machine Learning, or related field.
* Extensive experience in single-cell RNA-seq and TCR sequencing analysis (Seurat, Scanpy, scRepertoire, Scirpy).
* Proficiency in Python with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
* Strong statistical and machine learning skills including experience with transformer models and neural networks.
* Ability to communicate with team members from different backgrounds, as well as senior members of the research units.
* Ability to deliver high quality, consistent results in a timely fashion with a positive can-do and result-oriented attitude.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred; if you do not have them, please still apply:

* 2+ years of postdoctoral or industry experience in single-cell TCR analysis and machine learning applications in biology.
* Experience with structural biology tools (AlphaFold, molecular dynamics) and TCR:pMHC interaction prediction.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a track record of publications and/or patents in relevant fields.
