In this role as Senior Group Accountant/Senior Corporate Accountant (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our monthly and annual group consolidation, support the implementation of NetSuite and drive the development of group-wide accounting processes and internal control structures forward. You will act as the central point of contact for all Group Accounting topics for the subsidiary companies and external auditors.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for monthly and annual group consolidation in Lucanet across all group companies
• Central point of contact for Group Accounting topics, including intercompany coordination, monthly closures and audit assistance
• Coordination and review of reporting packages from subsidiary companies in accordance with group-wide standards
• Support for NetSuite implementation, particularly in configuring accounting requirements and process design
• Harmonization of accounting practices within the group and maintenance of the Group Accounting Manual
• Design and implementation of best practice processes in accounting, improving closing quality and supporting the development of an internal control system
• Close cooperation with Group Controlling to support reporting, analysis and transparency at group level
Requirements:
• Recognized accounting qualifications (e.g. certified public accountant or equivalent)
• Sound experience with Lucanet and confidence in handling consolidation processes
• More than five years of experience in corporate accounting or consolidation
• Experience with implementing ERP systems; knowledge of NetSuite is an advantage
• High degree of autonomy, structured approach and high quality standards
• Strong motivation, willingness to actively participate in change and develop processes further
• Excellent German and good English skills for group-wide communication
