What you’ll be up to
As an Accountant Manager (m/f/d) with a wide range of responsibilities, you will support our Finance Team in Munich with all accounting processes related to our entity tado GmbH. You will work closely with your teammates, take responsibility for various accounting tasks, and help ensure that our financial processes run smoothly and efficiently.
* Review and post the incoming invoices and travel expenses in accordance with applicable guidelines via Moss (expense management tool)
* Check import and export invoices, including account reconciliation
* Prepare the weekly payment runs
* Record payroll entries for various payroll areas
* Maintain the asset accounting
* Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, e. g. in regard to provisions
* Prepare various VAT and statistical reports (VAT returns for the UK/ France/ Italy, OSS report, ESL) in coordination with tax advisors
* Assist with tax audits
Support projects (e. g. Introduction of new tools, process optimisation)
What makes you a great fit:
* You have completed a commercial education or a comparable qualification, possibly even advanced training as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter)
* You bring at least 4 years of experience in accounting
* You have excellent German skills, both written and spoken, and you’re also confident communicating in English
* Excel and MS Office are part of your daily routine, and maybe you’ve already worked with tools like NetSuite (Oracle) or Moss
* Your way of working is structured and precise, and even in busy times you keep a clear head. At the same time, you value collaboration and enjoy being part of a team
* Our Munich office is a place where you like to come regularly (approx. 50% home-office possible)
