KG Organization EVP Global Functions Business Unit Strategic Procurement Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day Corporate Commodity Manager (f/m/d) is the SE-wide, strategic procurement owner of the respective commodity. CCM develops and aligns a resilient Ecosystem strategy for mandated Siemens Energy commodities together with commodity circles and in line with global SE strategy and business objectives. CCM implements a global Ecosystem strategy across various organizational units through assigned Commodity Managers and teams, supporting the transformation of SE. Functionally leads cross-functional commodity teams, providing and leveraging supply market knowledge beyond Procurement perspectives to generate value and impact.How You’ll Make an Impact
7. Provides vision, strategy, and functional leadership to global cross-functional team and acts as a role model of ownership, innovation, and change/transformation based on SE’s values and strategy of global commodity Cables & Connectors.
8. Manages, develops, and coaches the functionally assigned team members for successful commodity management, contract management, supplier relationship management, strategy developments and implementation.
9. Defines Commodity structure and organization (e. g., BA/EU/IMB setup) with the Heads of Strategic Procurement and respective stakeholder.
10. Develops a forward-looking commodity ecosystem strategy to create additional value based on specific business needs in close alignment with business and commodity circles.
11. Utilizes an enhanced Commodity Circle network to ensure the implementation of strategies.
12. Prepares, negotiates, awards and make available global frame contracts & price lists for strategic suppliers in accordance with business and market requirements.
What You Bring
13. A university degree in a technical or business-related field.
14. Extensive experience in various procurement functions.
15. Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a matrixed global organization.
16. Strong relationships to Cable & Connectors suppliers are desirable good understanding of Commodity, market, product knowledge and multiple aspects of supply chain value stream Strong Procurement know-how with capability to negotiate and operate in different cultures and managing constraint supply chains.
17. Willingness to travel approximately 20% and excellent English skills, both written and spoken; German proficiency is a plus.
