Position summary
This role acts as a strategic business partner and actively manages the cross-functional cooperation between marketing, medicine, sales and the worldwide commercialization learning team in order to successfully achieve the learning objectives for the commercial teams. This individual will mainly be responsible for the methodological and didactic conception, implementation and evaluation of modern adult learning initiatives for pharmaceutical sales representatives and their managers It will be responsible for the local project management of global learning and development measures. The Learning Manager builds a strong network with internal and external key stakeholders in the field of corporate learning. By using agile ways of working, you are a driving force behind the learning culture in the company.
Key Accountabilities
1. Act as a strategic business partner to provide innovative and flexible learning solution that drive an evolving and agile organization.
2. Collaborate with key local stakeholders to identify all field commercial learning needs to deliver the highest quality scientific, skill and capability-based pathways including design, development and integration of content, related to the market strategy.
3. Develop a learning strategy that supports local business objectives.
4. Continuously seek to identify and leverage state-of-the-art adult learning methodologies that can accelerate skill and knowledge development.
5. Leverage key worldwide commercialization learning initiatives at the market level; collaborate with Learning managers locally as well as in other markets to share learning experiences.
6. Develop and monitor metrics to evaluate the success of learning initiatives ensuring impact meets business needs.
7. coordinate and deliver onboarding programs for new commercial team members.
8. Collaborate with WW Center of Excellence to lead planning/execution of learning initiatives to ensure launch readiness & readiness validation.
9. Coordinate training delivery with internal and external partners as needed.
10. Report to Head of Commercialization Learning for Germany, Austria & Switzerland.
Skills & Experience & Individual requirements
11. University level degree preferred.
12. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, preparing and leading global learning initiatives.
13. Has a strong knowledge of pharmaceutical sales’ role & responsibilities.
14. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with matrix teams (Medical, Legal, Marketing, Sales, Compliance, Operations.)
15. Experience managing needs in a complex, large or multiple markets.
16. Deep knowledge of adult learning principles and learning design. Agile Learning methodology
17. Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and proven project management experience.
18. Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
19. Ability to prioritize, manage and execute on multiple projects simultaneously.
20. Influencing, negotiation and leadership skills.
21. Strong critical thinking and decision-making capability
22. High level of digital proficiency

24. German at mother tongue level; high English language skills
