The Owners Forum is a member-based community of leading international family enterprises represented by decision-makers of their owning families. Around eight times a year, our members come together for forums and member-hosted meetings in international business hubs such as Berlin, London, New York, Paris, Rome, Silicon Valley, Singapore or Tokyo.We are seeking a highly analytical and business-savvy Strategic Research & Matchmaking Analyst (m/f/d) who will play a key role in enabling our core value proposition: creating relevant, high-impact connections for our members. In this position, you will work closely with the Director of Growth & Matchmaking to deliver high-quality services and insights for our member enterprises, while contributing to the development of our matchmaking and insight pipeline. Your Mission & Responsibilities 1. Research & Strategic Analysis Conduct in-depth company, industry, and market research across a wide range of sectors Analyze business activities, governance structures, and international expansion strategies of family enterprises Synthesize complex information into executive-ready reports, briefs, and presentations Identify patterns, signals, and insights that help shape relevant matching opportunities Perform research, analysis, and due diligence on family enterprises to build a strategic growth pipeline 2. Matchmaking Intelligence Analyze member needs and map relevant opportunities within the ecosystem Provide structured, insight-based recommendations for introductions Ensure all recommendations are grounded in research, governance logic, and member needs 3. CRM Ownership & Data Excellence (Salesforce) Work closely with our Salesforce expert to redesign and optimize our Salesforce CRM, creating a clean, logical, and scalable data structure Ensure high-quality data capture, taxonomy, and reporting Build and maintain workflows, dashboards, and reports that support the matchmaking and due diligence processes Improve data reliability, transparency, and decision support within the team 4. Operational & Project Support Support process optimization initiatives across the customer relations team Contribute to internal knowledge management and documentation standards Prepare high-quality internal and external materials for senior stakeholders Collaborate closely with Directors and Founders, providing analytical input (no decision-making responsibility) Your Profile Experience & Background Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Management, or a related field. 3–5 years of practical experience in business analysis, strategy, operations, or related roles. Proven experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), including data structuring, reporting, and process optimization. Demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth research, financial and strategic analysis, and due diligence. Exposure to private capital, family enterprises, or international business environments is highly desirable. English: native or C2 level; proficiency in German is an advantage. Skills Strong analytical thinking and the ability to turn complex information into actionable insights. Solid research and problem-solving skills across multiple industries. Ability to identify relevant connections and matchmaking opportunities based on member needs. Hands-on, detail-oriented, and reliable in end-to-end execution.
