The Hotel Marketer is a small digital marketing agency specialising in the hospitality and tourism industry. Our team has a variety of experience providing various digital marketing services to a wide variety of independent hotels and groups all around the world. We’re now looking for enthusiastic candidates to help with the management of various social media platforms.
The purpose of this internship is to help raise the company’s profile via social media and to grow the number of leads received through our website. No prior experience is required as basic training will be provided, we just request that all applicants have a basic understanding of social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Although an unpaid internship, we feel that upon completion you will have learned some valuable skills, gained some great experience, and built up a great portfolio - as well as a glowing reference!
Duties and responsibilities:
-To research and create engaging content for all social media profiles and pages. -To post and engage in relevant communities on the key social media platforms.
-To analyse our Analytics platform to review the impact of our social media platforms.
-To use various tools to enable easier scheduling of content.
-To liaise with our content management team to ensure new web content is being shared.

You’ll be given “free reign” of our social media channels, enabling you to work autonomously and without concern. We’ll help enhance your CV upon completion, providing you an entry detailing your role, as well as a reference that can be included with future job applications. Training on how to use the key social media platforms as well as access to some important social media tools. Regular updates from us including advice and feedback on your performance. Although based in London this is a remote internship so applicants are welcome from Berlin and anywhere else throughout Germany.
