Job Description
Role Overview: TÜV Rheinland Group is a global leader in independent Testing, Inspection and Certification services As the Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in running our daily accounting operations. You will be responsible for all matters of accounting.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
* Handles daily accounting operations, including but not limited to, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll accounting, utilities, treasury, cash forecasting, and revenue and expenditure variance analysis
* Perform other tasks like tax reporting
* Ensure accurate and timely financial closing and reporting processes
* Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and accounting standards
* Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks
* Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes
* Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as a finance representative
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is highly desirable
* At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles,
* Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). and regulatory requirements
* Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP HANA)
* Advanced level of English both written and spoken
* Strong communication and presentation abilities
* High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
