Manufacturing Process Development:
* Design, optimize and validate manufacturing processes for battery module and pack assembly.
* Collaborate with design to ensure manufacturability, scalability and robustness of the product.
* Ensure process compliance to aerospace manufacturing and quality standards whilst adhering to local safety regulations.
* Create and maintain relevant documentation including process description documents, work instructions/operating procedures and training materials for the team.
Manufacturing Capability Development:
* Specify and lead the implementation of specialised production equipment, including automation systems.
* Develop and maintain workstations, and tooling to support safe and efficient operations.
* Ensure that all equipment and the facility infrastructure is functional, compliant, and ready for production.
* Support the gradual transition from manual assembly to semi- and fully automated production lines.
* Plan facility upgrades with a focus on layout, workflow optimization, scalability, equipment integration while adhering to safety regulations.
Support and Best Practices:
* Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process-related issues.
* Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
* Handle ad-hoc engineering projects with flexibility and a problem-solving mindset.
* Promote and uphold a culture of safety acrossall teams.
Your profile
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering, preferably in battery systems or aerospace components.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, process validation, and equipment integration.
* Ability to work hands-on in a dynamic production environment.
* Familiarity with high-voltage systems, thermal management, and battery safety protocols.
* Experience with CAD tools and manufacturing documentation systems.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality control systems.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously within defined timelines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective. collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, equipment vendors, and contractors.
* A driven, proactive individual who thrives on challenging assumptions.
* Goal-oriented and innovative, with a deep passion for advancing technology.
* Fluent in English, German Skills are a Plus.
