The Transformation Enablement subgroup is part of the Foundation and Intelligent Transformation group, one of five groups in the engineering department of SAP Signavio unit. We value consistency, modularity & re-usability, as well as simplicity. Join a passionate, rapidly growing, cross-functional team that is developing exciting new solutions to accelerate our customer’s Business Process Transformation.
Our focus is to create customer facing applications which work across all SAP Signavio products enabling user to execute their business process transformation seamlessly while providing a streamlined user experience.
We collaborate closely with all SAP Signavio Product & Engineering teams to jointly ensure our customer can execute their jobs to be done throughout the entire SAP Signavio Transformation Suite.
The way we work:
You will work closely with a diverse group of people in a feature team including products owners, designers, frontend, and backend engineers. Our teams work self-organized and agile. They are supported by a Development Manager, with people development and leadership expertise, and a Functional Lead, with role-specific expertise. We focus on enabling people and creating the right environment for them to thrive.
What you'll do:
* Build and iterate new product functionality which allows users to collaboratively transform their business processes
* Contribute to the entire cycle of product development, from first ideas and brainstorming sessions to continuously delivering improvements based on customer data
* Solve technical challenges of high scope and complexity building micro-frontends which are used in the entire Signavio Suite
* Work closely with an experienced feature team including products owner, architect, designer, frontend and backend engineers in an agile setup
* Build on a modern cloud-native stack and infrastructure
* Learn, collaborate, and guide other front-end developers
What you bring:
* Professional experience with React or another modern JavaScript web framework (e.g. Angular, VueJS, etc)
* A foundational knowledge of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
* A foundational knowledge of core web and browser concepts
* Experienced in writing automated tests (e.g. Jest, Cypress, etc)
* Experience of performance and optimisation challenges and a proven ability to both diagnose and prevent them
* Experienced in using Git in a professional/business environment
* English language skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely about complex technical, organisational and/or architectural challenges and propose iterative solutions
* Motivation to work in an agile environment
Nice to have:
* Working knowledge in TypeScript
* Experienced in working with a remote team
* Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs
