CRYOPROP demo is looking for a Power Electronics intern. This internship is based in Ottobrunn (Germany) and will ideally begin ASAP The internship will be a rewarding experience if you are passionate about aeronautics, sciences and new technologies. You will be part of an ambitious and flexible project execution with a diverse technical team, with partners from worldwide industry and academia, start-ups in a dynamic and emulating environment. The objective of this internship is to participate in research work on innovative power converters for aircrafts, also on test bench design and testing of this topic. You will be part of the dedicated team and you will work on the development and validation of the test methods. The range of the units under test will go from component level (semiconductors, resistors, capacitors, inductances) up to functional brick level of power converters. Tasks and Responsibilities : Your main activities will include: Simulation & analysis of power converter Prototyping & Integration electronics design Assembly and integrated test of power electronics Your boarding pass What you bring You are preparing a diploma level in Bachelor/ Master Thesis or internship, in Electrical engineering or equivalent, with specialisation in Electrical engineering and you obtain following competences: Skills in electrical design, power electronics: Analog, digital and power electronics circuits Skills in measurement, instrumentation and testing method Knowledge about superconductivity and cryogenic Fluency in English Passion about technology, science Eagerness to take initiatives to propose simpler and efficient ways of working Impatience and burning desire to attain rapidly, along with a healthy skepticism for progress Values of transparency, humility, empathy Autonomy, Adaptability, Availability, Accountability Team-Player mindset Willingness to have fun.
