Who we are
The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.
Your role and key responsibilities
* Execution of cell design and provision of the bill of materials (for samples, change requests, etc.)
* Evaluation of the effects of cell design on cell properties (capacity, VED, mass, BOM ...) with verification of intermediates and their corresponding definition
* Identification and understanding of cell design trade-offs and derivation of countermeasures (preparation of recovery plans, VED, QC...)
* Review and highlighting of discrepancies between TDAs, OOPSL data, and cell design
* Coordination of the DoE overview, tracking, gap analysis
What you bring to the team
* University degree e.g., in chemistry, electrochemistry, material science, physics, chemical engineering, process engineering or comparable qualification
* Experience in cell design with chemical and industrial background
* Strong expertise in lithium-ion cell design and electrochemistry
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrialization
What makes you stand out
* Strong communication skills and experience in international teams
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* English and German language skills
* Intercultural Mindset
What to look forward to
* Flexible working hours from 28 to 40h per week
* Possibility of a 4-day-week (up to 35h per week)
