PROJECT TITLE:
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
In this PhD project, we aim to understand how endothelial cells (specifically HUVECs) respond to mechanical forces by modulating their cytoskeleton, adhesion dynamics, and gene expression. Using a combination of microfluidic systems, quantitative live-cell imaging, molecular biology, and immunocytochemistry, we will dissect how cytoskeletal and signaling networks integrate environmental inputs to coordinate vascular function, remodeling, and barrier integrity.
We are looking for a motivated PhD candidate with a background in cell biology, or a related life sciences field. Molecular biology techniques (e.g., Good English communication skills and interest in interdisciplinary research are essential
