Job Description
We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Social Content Manager to join our Emmy Award winning team, working alongside one of our partners - a leading global streaming service.
You’ll be responsible for creating and delivering social media content on this key account with the help of a team of integrated producers, content managers, editors and designers, and under the supervision of a Social Content Director.
We are looking for someone with strong knowledge across all social media platforms especially Instagram and TikTok, as well as a good understanding of how brands can use social media to engage audiences online.
Someone with experience on always on content, as well as organic and paid campaigns at a national level working alongside internal and external stakeholders.
Passion for pop and internet culture is a must. This role will have a focus on short form vertical video, both ideating for and creating themselves, including a strong affinity with the creator landscape.
The role will be part remote and part based in our Berlin office in Germany with some occasional evening and weekend work when required.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Social Account Management
* The Social Content Manager will support the development of the social media presence for our client, helping drive reach and engagement for their social channels with excellent creative and strategy.
* The Social Content Manager will support the creation and management of content calendars for both paid and organic assets, and to create copy with oversight from the team. They will also work with social designers on the creation of assets, liaising with clients for reviews and approvals (as and when required), working with our team to build and manage communities around a well-loved global brand.
* The Social Content Manager will support the creative ideation, community management, social copywriting, scriptwriting, short and long-form copywriting and reporting, all of which is overseen and signed off by the project lead.
* The Social Content Manager will support social coverage for live events, as well as marketing and junket shoots, briefing and managing high profile entertainment talent.
* The Social Content Manager will work hand in hand with the Creative Director to make sure content and ideas are in line with creative strategy and fit for purpose for this client.
* Social Media Expertise: the Social Content Manager will ensure they remain up to date with the new trends/behaviours and updates on social media to translate this to clients in a reactive and relevant way, for both paid and organic content.
Project Management: Working closely with the integrated production and client management teams to ensure the success of on time and on budget, delivery of briefs. This will involve understanding and following internal processes including but not limited to timing plans, content calendars, wash up reports. It includes liaising with clients and key stakeholders to receive briefs and key information, ensure they are made aware of all relevant information, and are able to input on key decisions and sign off. This doesn’t include financial accountability.
Qualifications
* 3+ years experience working on social media.
* Someone who is fluent in English and German,
* killed in German copywriting for social media and has the ability to understand and adopt the client’s tone of voice.
* Passionate about social media, entertainment and pop culture.
* Someone with an understanding of platform business managers and social media tools, i.e. Meta Business Manager and Sprinklr.
* Experience creating content for social media: static assets, short and long form video (Reels, TikTok and longer scripted pieces), GIFs, memes.
* Somebody with experience of building online communities, especially for brands, and that understands fandom communities in social spaces.
* Someone with experience delivering social campaigns at a national level.
* Somebody who is confident talking to clients via email, call, Slack or in-person.
* Experience working with talent on photo and video production shoots (ideally within a marketing shoot or junket environment)
* Experience running paid media campaigns - working with media agencies, understanding media KPIs, paid creative best practices
* Experience covering live events
* Experience and understanding of the entertainment industry
* Experience in creative agencies is welcomed.
